Dragons Callum Buglass (U12’s) and Ellis Price (U14’s) have both been selected to play for the South West Under 13’s Conference Ice Hockey Team and will be travelling off to Gellen, Holland then onto Den-Haag this Easter weekend.

On their return they will then go into intensive training mode for the JUNIOR CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT.

This Tournament is where all the best players throughout the South West, South East, Midlands and Northern come to play for the Championship Trophy.

Callum and Ellis have been selected from approx. 80 of the best S/W players to make it into the final team of 17 players, which is a fantastic achievement for the boys.

Cardiff Junior Ice Hockey Club, players, parents and management would like to congratulate Callum, Ellis and under 18’s Michael Crisp, Chris Jones, Chris Hart, Ben Davies and Tom Evans who were selected into the South West Under 17’s team and wish them all Good Luck in the Junior Conference Tournament.

This game was billed as a friendly challenge match to showcase British up and coming talent and it certainly lived up to expectation with a few hits and even a fight thrown in for good measure! ....... report



Cardiff Devils v Cardiff Dragons

The Cardiff Devils take on the Cardiff Dragons in a Best of British challenge game at the Cardiff Ice Arena, Cardiff Bay on Wednesday 27th February.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see the promising young Welsh talent of both these teams as well as the more experienced skills of senior club members.
See two periods of hockey and then join both teams on the ice for a skate (normal skate hire costs apply). Tickets are available from the box office on 029 2038 2001 If you are a Junior Devils member bring along your membership card and get a discounted ticket for just £3.00 All other tickets can be purchased for the fantastic price of just £5.00

Cardiff ENL Dragons make the South League Champions Playoff's

With just one more regular league game left to play, next weekend at home to Swindon, the ENL Dragons have already guaranteed themselves a place in the South League Playoff’s after maintaining their second place league table position..... report

 


Dragons Lead the Under 18's Division 1 League
26th January 2008

The Under 18's played at home against Guildford on the 26th January and gave a great team performance which resulted in a 9-2 win and a top of the league position... report


Cardiff Dragons 7 - 3 Telford (ENL)
27 th January 2008

The ENL played at home last weekend in a game against Telford and won 7-3. After this win the team retain their 2nd place in the league table.
Goals came from: Jamie Dancey x1, Dan Madge x1, Michael Hutchings x1, Alex Madge x1, Steve Fisher 2+5 and David James 1+2.
Other assists went to: Phil Manny x1, Jordan Baber x1, Michael Price x2, Gareth Dixon x2.
Man of the Match went to Alex Madge.
