Cardiff Junior Ice Hockey Club would like to congratulate, Callum Buglass, Owen Griffiths, Jack Randall, Josh Haslam, Daniel Mann, Joey Lewis, Chris Hayes, Jeff Monaghan, Rhys Thomas and Jamie Hayes on their successful selection into South West Conference Squads – Well done guys!!


Callum, Owen and Jack have all been selected into the South West Conference under 11’s, Josh and Daniel made it through to the under 13’s, Joey, Chris, Jeff and Rhys have all been selected into the under 15’s while Jamie made it through and will be representing the under 17’s.

This is a fantastic achievement for the players, who have all worked really hard in the trials, especially when you consider they have been without home ice since the end of last season and have had limited ice training at Bristol.

Cardiff Dragons under 12’s net minder James Whiting also tried out for the under 11’s Conference squad and worked tirelessly making it through 8 rounds of trials before just missing out on a place in this seasons squad.

The South West Conference under 11’s coach commented – “This year the standard of hockey skills and commitment is extremely high, it’s been a difficult choice for the coaches to finalise the squad.”

The Club has a very strong representation this season at all levels in the South West Conference and we would like to wish all the players ever success in their games!
