Owen Bradshaw (SW Conference U11’s), Owen Griffiths, Jack Randall, Callum Buglass and Tom Parkinson (SW Conference U13’s) all struck Gold at the Conference finals weekend in Hull.

Owen Bradshaw, a key member of the Cardiff Devils U12’s team, helped his Conference team-mates win the Under 11’s Conference title after his team beat the Midlands Conference 5-1 in the Final.

On route to the final the South West U11’s beat the North Conference 2-0, Scotland 6-3 and managed 2-2 draws with the South East Conference and the Midlands Conference. It was an outstanding performance from Owen and all the U11 players in claiming the title.

The U13’s final was also against the Midlands Conference team. The South West came out 1-0 on top after a close fought game to win their title.

On route to the final the U13’s defeated the South East Conference 2-0, Northern Conference 7-0, and Scotland 3-0, and they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to the Midlands in the group stages.

All five players had a great weekend and did the South West and Cardiff Junior Ice Hockey Club extremely proud.
